The Autopilot VBN is a compact navigation system that keeps unmanned aircraft on course when GNSS is weak or unavailable. Using stereoscopic cameras, SLAM and visual-inertial odometry, it provides reliable position and attitude data in real time, making it ideal for GNSS-denied or jammed environments.
With onboard image processing and sensor fusion, the system achieves navigation accuracy down to 0.3–1.0 m CEP. It continuously delivers position, velocity and attitude at up to 60 Hz, ensuring smooth and precise flight control even at higher speeds and altitudes.
Rugged and lightweight, the VBN is built to aerospace standards, with IP67 protection, dual power inputs, and an operating range from −40 to +60 °C. It integrates easily via CAN or serial links with autopilots, mission computers, or detect-and-avoid systems, and includes onboard data logging for analysis and certification support.
By combining certified reliability with vision-based autonomy, the Autopilot VBN enables safe navigation for UAVs, eVTOLs and other autonomous platforms in urban corridors, BVLOS missions, and GNSS-challenged environments
