The Autopilot 4x is a fully redundant flight control system designed for applications where failure is not an option. While the 1x model already sets a high standard with sensor redundancy and certified reliability, the 4x goes further with complete hardware redundancy, multiple processing cores, redundant power supplies, and an advanced arbitration system – ensuring there is no single point of failure.

  • 3+1 Redundant Architecture – three internal cores plus an optional fourth external unit, enabling dissimilar redundancy or parallel operation.

  • No Single Point of Failure – independent power inputs, redundant communication buses, and a dedicated arbiter board guarantee continuous operation even if one core or module fails.

  • Arbiter & Built-In Tests (BIT) – advanced arbitration continuously monitors system health and ensures seamless handover between control units in case of malfunction.
